Society of Wilderness and Remote Medicine APPs
The Society of Wilderness and Remote Medicine APPs (SWARM APPs) was founded by APPs like you who have a passion for the outdoors and wilderness medicine practice and education. We formed this group to provide a resource for APPs who are looking to get involved with wilderness medicine for the first time as well as those seasoned outdoor professionals looking for opportunities for continued involvement and everyone in between.
Our ability to develop an excellent resource depends on input from the APP community. We welcome information on educational and employment opportunities alongside stories about APPs in wilderness medicine with boots on the ground. Do you have ideas for content? Are you hosting a wilderness medicine course locally or internationally? Do you know an APP in wilderness medicine that deserves to be highlighted? We want to hear from you! Please contact us and leave us a message.
Our organization is founded by APPs however we invite all medical providers and first responders, and all others interested in learning about wilderness medicine, to follow our website to learn more.
